Thousands lives are still at risk. Nepal is craving for donations of relief supplies such as food, water, medical aid, and Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets.

Many people are looking for shelter under which they can stay with families. The biggest risk is to manage the relief supply and to protect the lives from diseases burst out because of dead bodies. They also need insecticidal nets to protect them from insects and mosquito bites.

Oxfam, Red Cross, local bodies, UN services, NRS-International and many other nations are providing relief supplies, but they are not sufficient. According to USA official, rescue operations are completed and there are very few chances left for people buried under debris, so they have initiated relief operations and call for massive donation campaigns. We all have deep feelings for the victims and we want to help them. Well, do not underestimate your power; you can do a lot for them. According to rough estimation, at least 430,000 people are in need of clean water, emergency shelter, and medical supply.

We all know that every day the risk of diseases in many areas is increasing and more people will need more insecticidal nets. Here are some effective ways that can help you reach Nepali citizens who need your help.

Where and How you can do that?

There are several places that collect charity and most of them work online. According to a rough estimation you can donate according to the following criteria:

  • $35 to ensure that people can get enough food.
  • $55 to ensure that people can get medical kits.
  • $80 to ensure that people can get clean water.
  • $120 to ensure that homeless people can get access to temporary shelter and toilets.

In addition to that if you have spare insecticidal nets and tents, you can drop them at your nearest collection center. The NGO management will not only collect your donation, but they will ensure fastest delivery to Nepal.

You can also help by buying the medical kits, tents, nets and water units and then can submit them at the collection centers. Moreover, if you really want to make a positive impact you can join the volunteering services.

Each net which is sprayed with insecticide can cost you $12, you can buy as many as possible from your nearest supplier. The benefit and use of these nets are impressive and in time of need their demand increases that are why often manufactures increase the price. So if you can have access to cheap supply, it is better to buy as many as possible for you. Remember your investment can save many lives, so donate generously.
